Tables of Z Functions for Atmosphere Entry Analyses
註釋Tables are presented of Z functions and related quantities for computing entry trajectories into planetary atmospheres. These tables form a supplement to the analyses previously published in An Approximate Analytical Method for Studying Entry Into Planetary Atmospheres, NASA TR R-11, 1959, and An Analysis of the Corridor and Guidance Requirements for Supercircular Entry Into Planetary Atmospheres, NASA TR R-55, 1959. The results apply to shallow entries of lifting and nonlifting vehicles of arbitrary mass and size having constant aerodynamic coefficients. Results for nonlifting vehicles also apply to steep entries into the earth's atmosphere. Tabular values for various entry angles cover the range of entry velocity from 1.0 to 3.0 times circular velocity, and the range of lift-drag ratio from -4 to +4. (Author).
