The Ware Mutiny 1647
註釋In November 1647 Generals Fairfax and Cromwell called a rendezvous of the New Model Army at Ware in Hertfordshire. It quickly turned into a confrontation between the 'grandee' officers and the Levellers and resulted in the execution of one agitator. Dr. Alan Thomson of the University of Hertfordshire has examined all the evidence - including some fresh sources - to answer the question: was the Ware Mutiny order restored or revolution defeated?
