Associations Between Teacher Interpersonal Behaviour and Aspects of Classroom Environment in an Asian Context
註釋The study also looked into gender differences in students' perceptions of classroom environment measured by the QTI and the WIHIC. Finally, the study investigated the relationships between the cultural background of teachers and the students' perceptions of classroom climate. The study showed that the learning environment instruments QTI and WIHIC are reliable and valid instruments to use in Brunei. Significant associations between students' attitudes and most of the scales in the QTI and all of the scales in the WIHIC were also detected. Gender differences in students' perceptions of interpersonal teacher behaviour and classroom environment, enjoyment of science and attitude to scientific inquiry were also found. The cultural background of the teachers were also found to be associated with the learning environment.
