Festivals and Ceremonies
註釋Accounts of festivals and ceremonies provide a rich source of information for historians of the early modern period, especially those working on the history of art, music, dance and theatre, and the history of warfare, politics and diplomacy. Until now, however, such accounts have been difficult to locate in library collections, since many are catalogued as anonymous. Festivals and Ceremonies provides access for researchers to accounts of court, civic and religious festivals held throughout Europe from the end of the Middle Ages to the end of the eighteenth century.
