Barry Scrapyard in the Late 1970s and Early 1980s
註釋Growing up in north-west London in the 1950s and living alongside a busy freight line, the seed for steam fascination was firmly planted in a young Geoff's head. Later in life he was able to visit Barry Scrapyard and recorded the locos seen over a seven-year period from 1977 to 1983. He then went back in the early 1990s to photograph every last remaining locomotive. Those holiday stop-offs at that famous scrapyard created a photographic record of a unique place, now long-gone.
