Technical Procedures for Updating the National Wetlands Inventory of Southern Minnesota
註釋This project used geospatial techniques and image interpretation processes to remotely map and classify wetlands in southern Minnesota. The project study area included approximately the southern third of Minnesota across portions of the following thirty-six counties: Big Stone, Blue Earth, Brown, Chippewa, Cottonwood, Dodge, Faribault, Fillmore, Freeborn, Houston, Jackson, Kandiyohi, Lac qui Parle, Le Sueur, Lincoln, Lyon, Martin, McLeod, Meeker, Mower, Murray, Nicollet, Nobles, Olmstead, Pipestone, Redwood, Renville, Rock, Sibley, Steele, Swift, Wabasha, Waseca, Watonwan, Winona, and Yellow Medicine. The purpose of this project was to update and enhance the Minnesota National Wetland Inventory using high resolution imagery and a variety of high quality ancillary datasets. The final product was a seamless NWI dataset of the entire project area for inclusion in the NWI master geodatabase.
