註釋James Snedden (1760-1850) was born in the parish of Alloa, county of Clakmannon, Scotland. He was a descendant of James Swadon (born 1701) and Grizal McClaran. James Snedden and his wife, Christina Montgomery immigrated to Ontario in 1821. Descendants lived throughout Canada and also in New York, New Jersey, Washington, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Tennessee, Nebraska, and elsewhere.
