Not the One
註釋Jesus tells of the parable of the Lost Sheep. A shepherd has one-hundred sheep, one goes missing and He leaves the ninety-nine to look for the one. What a beautiful portrait of our Great Shepherd, Jesus. He will always look after us, find us, heal us and keep us safe, but there must be a point in our Christian walk that we no longer are that "one" that always goes astray. The time of wandering is over; stop running away when things get tough and challenging. The time of sitting down in dismay is long gone; Jesus has called you back to the fold. Be the leader He has made you be. Make wise choices based on the Word of God; His Word will never fail. He will never leave you or forsake you. Uphold the standard of the Word of God. Be a living example, a replica of Jesus. Do what He would do and go where He would go. Talk to those who are lost and hurting those who need Jesus. Lay hands on the sick and let Jesus heal them. Cast out demons of the possessed and oppressed. Be the light in the darkness around you. You have been called for such a time as this. You have a job, a purpose, a high and holy calling from the creator of the universe. Step up and be whom God has called you to be.ENDORSEMENTS: "Pastor Susanne Ryan has put together a gem! She is a wonderful pastor in a powerful, loving, faith-filled, Spirit-led, multi-generational church and the PK (preacher's kid) of the founding pastors! That alone gives her the life experience and ability to write this profoundly simple, to the point, easy to read, and life-changing book. From beginning to end, she reveals, teaches, and inspires us to live essential Bible truths that will cause us to grow, keep the faith and live successfully "found" in a rapidly changing and hostile secular culture.
