註釋Matthias Hitchcock (1610-1669) emigrated in 1635 from England to Watertown, Massachusetts, moved to New Haven, Connecticut in 1639, and to East Haven, Connecticut in 1651. Luke Hitchcock emigrated from England to New Haven, Connecticut during or before 1644, married Elizabeth Gibbons, and moved to Wethersfield, Connecticut during or before 1646. Descendants of Matthias and Luke lived in New England, New York, Michigan, Iowa and elsewhere. Some descendants immigrated to Québec, Ontario and elsewhere in Canada.
