註釋Revised by James Nickalls, Jr., this collection consists of the statutes of Upper Canada in force in 1831. Published privately, the book was a basic reference for judges and lawyers for years, making it unnecessary for them to store numerous volumes of acts. In 1840, the provinces of Upper and Lower Canada united, taking effect in February 1841 and making further revision necessary.
