註釋This report presents results of part of a multi-year study to re-evaluate the geology & mineral potential of the Shining Tree area in the southern part of the Abitibi greenstone belt of northern Ontario. The area studied comprises three townships located 70 kilometres south-east of Timmins. After an introduction on the regional geology, the report describes the area's general geology, structural geology, and the correlation between geology & airborne geophysical maps. The final section contains descriptions of mineral claim properties in the area and makes recommendations for exploration.
