A Tale of Two Flies
註釋

A Tale of Two Flies is a story of friendship and adventure; a portrayal of two best friends and their unique relationship.

Larry and Peter are two flies who meet up and spend every summer together. This year, they try to find something fun to do and suggest a multitude of ideas. The story continues to show the fantastical ideas of Larry, who is keen to go on an adventure with his best friend. What will they end up doing?

No matter what Larry and Peter do, they’d do it as best friends.
Filled with an abundance of illustrations and rhyming verses, A Tale of Two Flies can be enjoyed by all ages. Though primarily a picture storybook, for children aged from 2-6 years old, it has a more complex theme of friendship that adults will be able to relate to. The simplistic rhyming clashes with the darker, comic-book-style illustrations.

Jason draws inspiration from a number of authors, including Maurice Sendak, Raymond Briggs and Dr. Seuss. He is also inspired by a variety of illustrators, including Jim Lee, Michael Turner and Greg Capullo.
