註釋About 1927, I.D. (Budd) O'Donnell became concerned that the stories of the first Pioneers of Yellowstone Valley were being lost. He, a pioneer himself, began to interview the old timers still alive. Montana Monographs records the anecdotal stories and biographies of the pioneers in their own words. Nearly eighty years later, Harley O'Donnell, I.D.'s grandson, has transcribed the old hand-typed manuscript and added archival photographs of the pioneers. Montana Monographs paints a very true picture of what life was like in the 'Clarks Fork Bottom' in the 1870's, eighties and nineties.
