[ANGLÈS] Iscan's method (1984) is the analysis of the sternal end cavity of the human fourth rib. In this project we will compute the shape descriptors described in his work with advanced image processing tools and try to automate the process to avoid some of the difficulties the forensics have to deal with every time. The measurements are done at pixel level using Matlab. Looking at its size, profundity, irregularity and circularity we get those shape descriptors and run the statistical analysis.
