註釋Brides of Harmon Junction, Book 1Autumn Sanders is looking for a husband. She answers an ad online from a man looking for a wife living in a small farming town in Minnesota. Upon entering Harmon Junction, she meets handsome farmer, Paul Michaels, and they immediately get off on the wrong foot. Autumn isn't concerned since he's not the guy whom she's arranged to meet. But Autumn has doubts about any of the men in town, when she learns they discipline their wives-with kisses! Kisses whether they wanted them or not. According to Paul, kisses ended a couple's argument.Paul takes her to his farm when he learns Autumn hasn't been paid from her job back home and can't afford the hotel. He has her cooking and doing chores and things between them work out well. So well, she's in his bed within a few weeks and he knows he's found his future wife. Autumn finds they have a definite sizzle. But Paul soon learns she's a young twenty-years-old and has to teach her how to care for a farm home, inside and out.But when Paul makes the assumption she'll marry him and even talks to the local priest about available dates, without proposing to Autumn first, she's livid and feels he's taking advantage of her and is upset he hasn't proposed to her before talking to the priest. Soon sparks fly between best friends, Nathaniel Pipestone, the town sheriff and Paul when Nathaniel asks her out on a date. Paul and Autumn eventually resolve their issues and soon marry.Autumn knows her husband and his farm are struggling but not to the point that she can't buy anything she wants for the house to make it homey until after the fall harvest, and that's only if it's profitable. And he refuses to allow her to use her own money. Will these obstacles deter them from each other or will their growing love keep them together?
