The Impact of Differentiated Instruction for Diverse Learners
註釋"What does it take to effectively differentiate instruction in the general education classroom? This action research study investigated how teachers could use UDL strategies, and Pathways, a product developed by Goalbook to reach all students in a diverse classroom. In addition, this study sought to examine how differentiating whole- class instruction promotes academic success and growth in students with very different learning styles. Qualitative and quantitative data were collected through pre and post- surveys, student work, observations, and interviews. Results showed planning and preparation time increases dramatically when a teacher chooses to differentiate instruction. Instruction was differentiated in lessons by using graphic organizers, place-value charts, sentence strips, and math problems that were partially completed. The findings showed students were aware of what access they had to the material and could provide feedback on what needed to be changed for them to achieve more success."--Abstract, p. 1
