註釋Tomes 1 and 2 are undated [issued in 1798 and 1799], tome 3 is dated 1800 on the title-page. In this work, Paykull (1757-1826) based his nomenclature on Linnaeus' works, and his classification and descriptions largely on the works of Fabricius, Linnaeus, and De Geer.
