註釋Allen Cameron was born in Auchternchity, Scotland. He married Mary Stewart. In 1791, with his wife and sons, Archie, Dougald and James, he emigrated and settled in Wilmington, North Carolina. Allen died in 1800. Descendants and relatives lived in North Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee and elsewhere.
