Seeing You Through a B Ok Lens
註釋"History is the poisoned well, seeping into the ground-water. It's not the unknown past we're doomed to repeat, but the past we know. Every recorded event is a brick of potential, of precedent, thrown into the future. Eventually the idea will hit someone in the back of the head. This is the duplicity of history: an idea recorded will become an idea resurrected. Out of fertile ground, the compost of history." ― Anne Michaels, Fugitive Pieces This tale is to touch on the mind and if there is soul to convey the beauty of love and capture our thoughts and passions, the beauty of a black man and a black woman. I also wrote of love generally, and the strength of a woman generally. However the strength and struggle of a black woman. And the relentless pursuit of a black man to love a black woman. A magnetic attraction. I believe the relation of black men and black women has been disrupted after the civil war which our ancestors fought for us, this book is about Sankofa. Try to understand the history I paint and see beyond the filter of which I wrote of what has happened before us.
