註釋Analyzes the works of the Polish-Jewish writer (b. 1912 in Galicia), who became an editor of the periodical "Kuznica" in Łódź after World War II. He spent the war period in Lvov (1939-42) and in Warsaw (1942-45). Pp. 40-61, "Ha-adam ba-Shoah" ["Man in the Holocaust"], discuss stories about the war that he wrote and published in the journal between 1945-49; many of them relate the moral dilemmas of Jewish victims and are based on real events.
