註釋Touched by Parkinson's disease is a short fictional story about Martin Jackson, a man with Parkinson's who as he goes through his daily life sees poetry everywhere and it creates images for him and contributes to an increase in his quality of life. As he goes about his life he will see the poems of real people with Parkinson's disease, who sent in poems. These poems are credited to the individual poets. The book also offers a collection of poems that reflect what the medical literature says are helpful visualizations, images or use of language for someone with Parkinson's. Embedded in each poem is the possibility of healing and increasing quality of life.
