Designed for both amateur and professional naturalists, it provides a discussion of the evolution, biology and taxonomy of the five families of Australian frogs, as well as keys to identification and information about collecting, keeping and photographing frogs. Includes a bibliography and an index. Barker is a technical officer in the Scientific Research and Survey Branch of the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service, Grigg is professor of zoology at the University of Queensland, and Tyler is associate professor of zoology at the University of Adelaide.
