註釋Describes the activities of L.I.C.A. (Ligue Internationale contre l'Antisémitisme), from 1979 called L.I.C.R.A. The organization was founded in Paris in 1928 in connection with the defense of Petlyura's assassin Samuel Schwarzbard. In 1932 the organization began publication of the journal "Le Droit de Vivre". Among the causes in which L.I.C.A. was active were opposition to the pogrom in Constantine (Algeria) in 1934, the Herschel Grynszpan and David Frankfurter trials, the Rosenberg trial, and the doctors' trial in the USSR. Today L.I.C.R.A. helps to combat Holocaust denial.
