註釋The SNAPTRAN-3 destructive experiment was conducted on April 1, 1964. In this test, a SNAP 10A/2-type reactor core designed and built by Atomics International was submerged in water and subjected to a sudden increase in reactivity. This report presents data obtained from the experiment and discusses the analysis of the data from the standpoint of determining the nuclear energy release and reactivity feedback effects.
