Adequacy of Practical and Content Coverage in Science and Technology Education Sandwich Programme of Kogi State College of Education, Ankpa
註釋The study sought to determine the level of adequacy of practical and content coverage in science and technology education sandwich programmes of Kogi State College of Education, Ankpa. A total of 42 academic staff responded to a three section questionnaire of 4 points liker scale. It was validated by four experts in the field of science and technology education and then trial tested. Using split half method and Spearman Brown prophecy formula, a reliability coefficient of 0.68 was obtained. The data for answering the two research questions and to test the hypothesis were analyzed. The result revealed that there was poor practical and content coverage of science and technology education sandwich programmes of Kogi State College of Education Ankpa. Similarly, the relationship between the lecturers' rating on practical and content coverage was significant. However, only four out of ten identified reasons were considered contributory factors to poor practical and content coverage. Recommendations were made based on the findings.
