註釋The interpretation of the Nathan promise (2Sam 7) is still a crux interpretation of Old Testament science. The openness and ambiguity of the text have already prompted its antique recipients to various new interpretations and are ultimately based on the history of its origin. The present study traces the path of this "tradition-creative" process of reception and interpretation of the Nathan promise from its beginnings within the Old Testament tradition through the traditional Jewish literature of the Hellenistic and Roman times to the New Testament.
