The Four Books
註釋"Zhu Xi's Four Books includes: The Great Learning [which] is a text traditionally attributed to Confucius, including nine chapters from his disciple Zeng Zi. it originally was a chapter in the book of Rites. The Doctrine of the Mean [which] is believed to have been composed by Confucius' grandson Zisi. Like the Great Learning, the text was a chapter in the Book of Rites. The Analects of Confucius [which] are a collection of sayings attributed to Confucius which were compiled posthumously by his disciples. Mencius [which] contains the conversations of the philosopher Mengzi (Latinized as Mencius), who was a disciple of Zisi."--
