註釋Camp Fremont was set up in Menlo Park to train the U.S. Army 8th Infantry Division for service in France during World War I. After the Russia withdrew from the War, part of the division was sent to Siberia to assist Czechoslovaks and Russians and prevent the Germans from getting the supplies in Vladivostok.
