Modeling Cell Signaling Pathways Using Bayesian Networks and Related Models
註釋This thesis is focused on the analysis and development of various tools for modeling cell signaling pathways. For this purpose, a given data set is taken through various processing stages and finally a network model of signaling pathways is derived. In order to achieve this, a simple and a well-established technique for classification of data is first analyzed, then the classified data are fed into a program to construct a Dynamic Bayesian Network. The application employs various packages and tools available with Java and Matlab. The main objective of this project is to create software that is easy to use by nontechnical users, while at the same time is generic enough to be adapted for various types of applications. In addition, the project aims to create a tool which enables users to easily model cell signaling pathways and one day be able to monitor cancerous developments.
