Annette Anson Records
註釋This collection consists of a deposition filed before a notary public in Virginia City, Montana, by Annette Anson (March 17, 1866) against her husband in which she claims to be "well known in this city of which she was the first female in habitant..." Also included is a deposition by William J. Bertless claiming that Anson was "an industrious and well conducted lady...." The divorce was granted by a private bill in the Territorial Legislative Assembly, signed by Acting Governor Thomas F. Meagher on March 21, 1866.
