An Analysis of Response Distributions from Three Different Etiological Groups of Educationally Handicapped Learners
註釋In the area of special education there are two different approaches towards training: The differential diagnosis approach states that etiological characteristics affect prognosis for training and the behavioral approach asserts that the results of training are independent of etiological factors. To obtain more evidence regarding these positions, the response distributions of three groups of language-handicapped children with different etiologies were analyzed using the Markovian learning model as a tool. The learning task was a remedial language program created by the Behavioral Sciences Institute, Carmel, California.
