註釋Christopher Averitt was born in Cornwell, England in 1590 and immigrated to Charles County, Virginia in 1630. His descendant, Peter Averitt, was born in Prince Edward County, Virginia in 1765 and later moved to Hartsville, Tennessee where he died in 1842. Descendants lived in Kentucky, California, North Carolina, Illinois, Utah, and elsewhere.
