Included are selected references to the species and its use as a sentinel species for estuarine pollution. The document is presented in three parts: 1)an Executive Summary of the history and purpose of recent starry flounder research in the lower Fraser River and the Fraser River Estuary; 2)results of a biotelemetry study of juvenile starry flounder conducted in 1994; and 3)results of a starry flounder life-history study conducted in 1993-94.
