Ambassadors on Mission
註釋Many who preach, teach, and write on the subject of spiritual warfare do so from the perspective that we are warriors fighting Satan and striving to win a battle. This book is written from the perspective that we are, first and foremost, ambassadors who, in the activity of representing our King in another kingdom, get caught in the crossfire of the battle being waged "in the heavenly places" and thus are in need of spiritual armor. Author Dan R. Crawford maintains that the warfare is not ours, except that we represent our Lord, Who has already claimed ultimate victory. One purpose of spiritual armor and spiritual instruction is to prepare the Christian ambassador to stand firm against Satan in the practice of intercessory prayer for the proclamation of the gospel, Crawford says.
