A Review of the Chinook and Coho Salmon of the Fraser River
註釋Fraser River chinook (Oncorhynchus tshawytscha) and coho (Q. kisutch) have undergone a decline in total return to the home river since the 1950's, attributed mainly to overfishing and habitat degradation. This report summarizes the status of the Fraser River chinook and coho: reviews their life history, gives records and trends in escapements of individual stocks and in catches by various fisheries, and highlights the extent of human degradation of the river.
