Conscious from a Canopy
註釋Consciousness, this mysterious phenomenon, emotionally ties the sequence of events in one's life, making a melancholy internal portrait of unforgettable faces, the shortness of life, and how precious every moment is. Through my life a vast turbulent ocean of human consciousness occurred, the entire essence of my soul was ruled by it. In the silent moments of my darkest thoughts I judged my inner being. There is a psalm that starts, "Walking through the shadow of death, I shall fear no evil," I do not feel that way. I have walked under the canopy of the jungle in Vietnam, where looking up at the heavens you could not see the sky for the darkness. I felt the fear, and it will not reside and leave my soul alone. My soul was formed by this experience.
