'Money Can't Buy Me Love'?
註釋Discusses conflicting evidence regarding the impact of women's access to credit on women's empowerment from studies of the Grameen Bank and BRAC (Bangladesh Rural Advancement Committee) credit programme. Based on general interviews with 305 loanees in Mymmensingh and 391 in Faridpur and 50 semi-structured interviews with females loanees and 20 with male loanees, examines the impact of credit interventions by the Small Enterprise Development Project on household relations and women's empowerment.
