Recipes and Recollections of James G. Swan
註釋James G. Swan (1818-1900), while living on the Pacific Northwest Coast frontier, enjoyed learning about food from the Indians and experimenting with his own recipes. Once he had settled into town - Port Townsend - he collected recipes from local hostesses, collecting them into a small notebook. That notebook is in the collection of the Jefferson County Historical Society. Volunteers have lovingly transcribed and tested the recipes.
