The Letters of Pfc. Richard E. Marks, USMC.
註釋Richard E. Marks was eighteen years old when he joined the United States Marines. He was nineteen when he was killed in combat near Da Nang, Vietnam. From November 1964 to February 1966, young Marks wrote nearly one hundred letters to his family and friends. Millions of words have been written about Vietnam. But none have surpassed the letters of Pfc. Marks in showing in human terms what the war in Vietnam means.
