註釋In the early spring of 1919, during a street pogrom, Samson Kolechko’s father was hacked to death by the Cossacks, and his own ear was cut off. There is unrest in Kyiv, the city is again captured by the Bolsheviks, but they have almost no control over the situation. The townspeople are being robbed by real and fake Red Army soldiers, and gangs of all kinds of atamans - Zeleny, Grigoriev, Struk - are now in charge on the outskirts of Kyiv... It is becoming increasingly difficult to survive. Due to strange circumstances - thanks to the desk of his late father - Samson Kolechko is recruited to serve in the police. This is a completely new matter for him, but he immediately, without thinking twice, begins to investigate crimes - those committed by the Red Army soldiers stationed with him. Samson's investigations lead to completely unpredictable consequences...
