The Golden Dragon
註釋Douglas Thorsby is a researcher working on loan in Taipei when he is suddenly wrenched out of his quiet, academic life into a world of murder and intrigue by the arrival of an old box holding a strange cylinder that puts him in the crosshairs of international art smugglers. He reluctantly teams with an American spy and a beautiful Chinese government agent to save his life and the trio must fight their own mistrust of each other, as well as the criminals they are tracking, as they attempt to penetrate an ancient mystery. Their adventure takes them across East Asia, from Bangkok to Taiwan, Hong Kong and finally to the deserts of far Western China as they battle unknown enemies who will stop at nothing to achieve economic and political domination, even if it brings the region's superpowers to the brink of war.
