註釋James Flow was born 9 March 1821 in North Carolina. He married Leah Malinda Long (1826-1905) 2 March 1846 in Union County, North Carolina. They had nine children. He died in 1877. David Flough was living in North Carolina by 1766. He may or may not be a relative of James Flow. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in North Carolina.
