Minutes include some Japan Mission Committee meetings, but mostly United Lutheran Church in America (ULCA) Board of Foreign Missions (BFM) meetings (see also ULCA 19) where Japan mission work, in which the UELC was in partnership with the ULCA, was discussed. This material includes minutes as well as agenda and exhibits provided prior to meetings. Correspondence is to the UELC BFM and the UELC Japan Mission Committee. Subject matter contained of this correspondence includes budgeting matters, missionary personnel and financial matters, inquiries from those interested in becoming missionaries, and inquiries from congregations interested in sponsoring missionaries.
