Asian American Mental Health
註釋This book is an adaptation of my doctoral dissertation which was successfully defended in 2014. The literature review provides an overview of Asian American mental health research. Topics relevant to the Asian American population are presented such as the model minority stereotype, acculturation and enculturation, help-seeking attitudes, stigma towards mental health, and differences between ethnic subgroups and generational status. A summary of my meta-analysis of Asian American psychological research studies is also presented. Clinical and theoretical implications are also discussed.
