Trespass into Eternity, a religious fiction by F. Joseph Diaz de Leon, centers around Connor Donnelley, an aging maverick archeologist who has been called to a reservation to investigate an image of Christ which appears on the wall of a newly opened cave. As the archeologists race to decipher long-hidden texts, a corrupt priest in the Vatican Security Department sends murderous twins to retrieve the artifacts and terminate Connor Donnelley. The most interesting aspects of the novel are the lengthy and convincing extracts the author has created by a writer who witnessed the crucifixion. These writings may hold the truth about the relationship between Christ and Mary Magdalene.
