Breaking The Diet Habit
註釋Abstract: Guidance is given to the general public for attaining one's natural weight by learning to pay attention to the body's signals (e.g., to stop eating as soon as one's hunger is satisfied) rather than relying on various diet plans for weight control. The philosophy proposed is termed the "undiet", since chronic dieting often results in weight gain over time, particularly once a given diet is stopped. The material presented is intended to enhance one's understanding of the psychology and physiology of overeating and undereating (dieting), and to bring, through the suggested behavior modification, both eating habits and weight back under control.
