註釋One of the challenges of teachers who work with bilingual / multicultural students is finding authentic materials that are available to them to use in the classroom. This is especially problematic at the secondary level. Bilingual teachers regularly come to me and share their frustrations regarding the dearth of materials for bilingual / multicultural students and have asked for my assistance in identifying better materials and resources. Over the past few years, I have asked my students to assist me in finding the best culturally relevant materials and provide suggestions for how best to use them in the classroom. I have gathered together these materials to help our current bilingual teachers in getting a better sense of what materials are truly out there and how to effectively use them in their classrooms. I hope that you will find these materials useful and relevant in your work in our increasingly more diverse classrooms.
