Cook recorded his and his wife's birth dates, the dates of their children's births and deaths, his parents' death dates, and his second marriage. Another person evidently recorded events after 1820, based on the handwriting. On the last page are three entries where Cook records giving his children to other families to keep. Nathaniel Bull, registrar, notes which page in the Harwinton books the dates have been recorded.
