Interview with Julie Henderson
註釋Julie was born in Adelaide in 1958 and as a child in the 1960s she went to the market on Friday nights. She liked the atmosphere. Julie started working at the markets as a face painter to supplement her teacher's income and went every week for ten years and still goes there. She was employed by the market management and really enjoyed her relationship with the stallholders. The children learn to trust you and gradually get more painting done each week. Sometimes their behaviour changes with a new 'mask'. Julie was always prepared to experiemnt and she started with poster paint but now uses water based stage paint with moisturiser. She goes in Friday night and Saturday mornings for 3 hours each day and gets moved to various locations within the market.
