Celtic Crossroads
註釋After years in the rank and file of various Belfast-based show-bands, George Ivan Morrison became the mainstay of local R&B group, Them. Acknowledged as one of the few British singers capable of taking on black styles without losing the overriding passion, Van led Them twice into the UK Top 10 in 1965 with covers of 'Here Comes the Night' and 'Baby Please Don't Go.' However, it was for the Morrison-penned B-side, 'Gloria, ' that the outfit would be forever remembered.
